long side part hairstyles

long side part hairstyles
Short bangs, or barely there bangs, are a great way to enhance a hairstyle. Because longer bangs can be more distracting and less complimentary to a hairstyle, short bangs can do the opposite and really add a small flair to one. Shorter bangs are great for most facial shapes by helping to frame the facial area and are good additions for any hair length. The three images here show some variety of short bangs but there are tons more different ways to wear barely there bangs and to compliment many hairstyles. The three short hair bangs shown here all come from Alyssa Milano who has some fantastic looks with different hairstyles.

Alyssa's first image here is a very short cut the actresses sported for quite some time. The hairstyle is very short and only a few people can pull off this hairstyle and still look as fabulous as she does. However, take away the short bangs here and the look is totally different and would not look as great. The short bangs compliment this short hairstyle to the very last strand to create a perfect look. For those ladies that can pull of this look, this hairstyle is a great change up.

The next image is a short hairstyle with choppy sections and short, choppy bangs. This is a great hairstyle for oval and heart shaped faces but not for elongated or rectangular jawlines. The short bangs compliment the overall cut and soften the facial area, mainly around the forehead. The addition of shorter bangs creates such a beautiful look that without them, this hairstyle just would not be the same. Because the bangs are choppy and asymmetrical, there is more attention directed evenly on the face.
This last image is of Carey Mulligan with full short bangs on a formal hairstyle. This look is great as it combines a very short hairstyle, a jeweled headband, and short swept bangs. These three elements seem to combine to produce a very creative and beautiful hairstyle. The headband is key to creating the formal look as it separates the hair into two sections and allows the slightly swept bangs to be a focal point. The short, swept bangs really add flair to this hairstyle and without it, the overall look just would not have that touch. Thanks for Alyssa for being so beautiful and having such lovely hair.
